This is one of my favorite things I've done in recent years. A friend came to me with the idea of creating new versions of '80s tunes that captured the feel, but were different enough that they didn't infringe on the originals.
The track names are clues, but if you love '80s music like I do, you won't need them to know where homage is being paid.
I've got a list of other tunes I'd like to try this with, but only time will tell if SML vol. 2 sees the light of day or not.
